Which PC is Right for You?
Last week a friend asked me for my input on buying her son a computer. It is a surprise gift for his high school graduation. She was not sure which computer would be right for him.
So before I began, I asked her a few questions.
What will he be using the computer for?
Will he be taking it with him to College?
How much do you want to spend?
Then I gave her the following information:
Entry level - This type of computer is good for someone who wants to use the internet to send email, surf the web and shop online. This computer will allow you to create and play CDs and play DVDs.
Average level - This type of computer is good for a student who will be using it to do homework, surfing the web for research, creating PowerPoint presentations, some games, downloading and even burning CDs or DVDs.
Expert level - This type of computer would be good for someone who does all the above and more. Including video games and editing movies, creating amazing projects. This type of computer can help run a business.
