Using computers in the classroom really impacts students' learning. Not only by getting children's attentions, but it also opens up new ways to learn. Different resources and activities can help the teacher bring in a variety of techniques, lessons, fun and entertainment. In addition, teachers can find ways to meet all the needs of her students. Software, internet resources, or being interactive with other educators can all take place. Therefore, using technology in the classroom can be beneficial for everyone.
For a second grade classroom, I propose five computers. I currently have three. I feel that adding two more computers in the classroom will allow more of my students to be able to get more time on the programs that I use in the classroom. I really think a smart board is needed for interactive activities and lessons. Since not all rooms have smart boards, the projectors should not be mounted, so it could be easily transported.
