Task

The team (aka the class) will be divided by the teacher into Consulting Firms. Each consulting firm will be assigned a position to defend the school board proposal either in favor of or opposed to banning cell phones in school.

Each consulting firm must defend their position from four different viewpoints.

A. The lawyer

B. The teacher

C. The parent

D. The student

Your consulting firm must:

1. Create a name for your consulting firm.

2. Research your topic using the internet research sites.

3. Submit a fact sheet of your researched information from each viewpoint.

4. Submit your answers to questions from each viewpoint.

5. Choose a viewpoint which is similar to yours and write a persuasive essay from your viewpoint.

6. Present a group powerpoint presentation defending your position.
